About Us

For nearly 30 years, FHTglobal (part of The ATS Group alongside Brook Green DMC and ATS Travel) has been helping meeting planners solve their biggest housing headaches. We’ve watched the industry evolve—from paper grids to real‑time dashboards—and we’ve stayed two steps ahead, delivering high‑touch service backed by rock‑solid reliability and total transparency.

We started out in 1997 as Far Horizons Tourism, working with international groups attending medical conventions in the USA. Since then, our company has grown to be the official international housing partner of some of the most prestigious medical association meetings as well as the largest housing companies in the industry. In recent years we have provided support to events around the world offering our full service housing solutions.

The ATS Group

FHTglobal, together with our sister companies Brook Green DMC and ATS Travel, makes up the ATS Group. ATS supports international group travel for leisure, meetings, events and incentive programs through our offices in Miami, Monaco, London, Edinburgh & Dublin with support teams around the globe.

There are traditional housing companies, there are strictly online housing services, and then there is us. We provide the best of both worlds, mixing in a little of the old with a lot of the new, making for an experience your guests will be happy to use!

Events with No Housing Partner

supporting events that are not partnered with a traditional housing company or may not offer housing-only services; our service is not the traditional housing model and may benefit events differently based on a variety of factors.

We get it. You’ve got tons on your plate as it is and you don’t have the time or team to spare to worry about hotels. That’s exactly what we are here for! We are an extension of your team and here to make sure your guests have a comfy place to sleep after a long day at your event!

Overflow/Post-Cutoff Housing

Chances are, your event is at a hotel or has committed to rooms at various properties. But more likely than not, you’re not reserving for 100% of your attendees. Our service is perfect to complement your blocks and ensure all of your guests have a place at the end of the day!

Risk-Averse Programs

Not everyone is comfortable contracting hotel rooms and running the risk of the “A” word….. (attrition!). Our hybrid system allows us to offer not just contracted blocks but also plug in special negotiated rates and even sell best available online rates seamlessly!

Online Marketing Support

You think it, we likely have a code for it! We can provide you customized coding to embed in websites, confirmation pages, emails, and more to give your attendees that extra push to promote the amazing hotel services you are providing them.

Public or Private Sites

We can be as open to the public or as hush-hush super duper secret as you’d like. We provide access based on your event needs, so you control who is staying in your hotels. Oh and did we mention, we can also give access to our private rates?

In a world where data rules, our system provides reporting like none other out there. Our partners will have access to real time data showing the who, what, when, where and how of guests booking rooms at their events. The “why” is obvious… because it’s awesome.

When we say detailed, we mean it (of course within reason). Our reporting shows not just how your contracted blocks do, but everywhere your attendees are booking as long as it’s through our site. Whether 1 room or 100 at a hotel, you know where guests stayed, for how long and what they paid. No better way to show the economic impact your event has on the local community!
